国立大学二次試験の自由英作文について

まず受験生としてアピールすべきことがあります。それは社会問題に対して関心があるということです。

大学入試で出題される社会問題には以下のようなものがあります。
「環境破壊」「人口爆発」「高齢社会」「食糧危機」「少年犯罪」「南北格差」「政治腐敗」などです。
これらの中でも最もよく出題されるのは、何と言っても、「環境問題」です。この中には「エネルギー問題」も含まれてきます。

ですから、受験生としては、このように出題される問題がある程度限定できるわけですから、これを日本語で読んでおくと良いです。
それは英文を読むスピードも速くなりますし、また同時に、内容を理解する洞察力も深まるからですね。

それで私なりに考えて、生徒に丸暗記をさせる雛形の英作文があるので、企業秘密なのですが、ここで書いてみたいと思います。

Since in a high school, my friends and I have been interested in several social problems.
Carbon dioxide emissions, population explosions and juvenile delinquencies are appropriate examples.
And yet, what can confuse me the most is a global warming.

When we burn fossil fuels, we can produce much electricity in order to make our life convenient.
On the other hand, we never fail to launch much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
This has led to a global warming, which had caused abnormal weather conditions and so on.
If it were not for our efforts to prevent such a dangerous situation, we could not live on the earth.

I have heard that there have been some vital ideas thought by talented researchers and professors around the world.
However, we have no means to gain such information at a personal levels.
My final conclusion is that I would like to continue to study crucial social issues in the university.

このくらいなら誰でも覚えられると思います。これに自分の考えを付け足しても良いかと思います。
基本的に、大学受験は、「分析」と「準備」で勝負が決まります。
そのことを踏まえながら、受験勉強をしないと、苦行になってしまいかねませんよね。
